Alboran Hills is a complex of 2 bedroom apartments and penthouses situated in Manilva on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain.

Manilva is located between Estepona and Gibraltar and is about a 60 minute drive from Malaga airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar.

The urbanisation is accessed via a choice of 2 secure gates.  In Phase 1 there are 132 apartments in 4 blocks -A,B,C and D. Each block has underground car parking and 2 lifts to all levels. The central community area has a large beautifully landscaped swimming pool with separate children's pool, all fenced off for safety, and ample community gardens and grounds.

Location

The complex has a beautiful location with views to the hills and the sea and is only 300 metres from the quiet beach of Aldea, which can be accessed safely by means of a footbridge at the bottom of the hill.

Five minutes drive away is the lovely, picturesque marina of Puerto de Duquesa, with plenty of bars and restaurants and some delightful small shops to choose from. It’s a great place for dining and /or an evening stroll. If you like Karaoke the marina provides some of the best venues.

Estepona and Sabinillas are towns nearby with a real Spanish feel, lovely paseos (promenades) and great beaches. Estepona is a town with wide streets that has succeeded in maintaining its pueblo charm and character but all the facilities you need are here including restaurants, leisure and cultural activities, and shops. The numerous street cafes and tapas bars still serve traditional Spanish delicacies and the steep, cobbled, narrow streets seem more suited to horses than cars. You'll also find unusual shops and bodegas in quiet streets where you’d least expect them. Sabinillas, once a tiny fishing village is a short distance away to the west where you will find, within a small area, several supermarkets, restaurants, bars and tapas bars as well as Chinese and Indian restaurants, bookstores and banks and many other individual shops.

Sotogrande, San Pedro, Ronda, Gibraltar, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Mijas and the traditional whitewashed villages in the Andalucían hills, notably the local historic village of Casares are all within easy reach of the urbanisation and well worth a visit.

This whole area is a golfer’s paradise with Duquesa Golf only 5 minutes drive away and courses such as Valderrama, (which held the Volvo Masters in 2007) Sotogrande and San Roque (complete with Casino) all within a 20 minute drive and that’s just for starters.

Family entertainment is well provided for with safe beaches, water sports, Selwo Adventure Park, Zoo's, water parks etc. Shoppers can enjoy the designer shops in Puerto Banus and Marbella.  A leisure and retail park has recently opened in the vicinity of Los Barrios, complete with your favourite shops all with massively discounted prices, a multi-screen cinema and a bowling alley.  There are street markets in most towns and villages. Sunday is a good day for markets in the area - the Sabinillas flea market is famous for miles around, there is a tourist market in Estepona Marina and for something different a craft market in the exclusive Sotogrande Marina -so you’ll have to get up early to catch them all.
